The Applegreen Group hosts and operates universal access Electric Vehicle charging bays from locations in Ireland, the UK, and the United States. Established in 2021 as a subsidiary of Applegreen to focus exclusively on the delivery of EV charging infrastructure in Applegreen's three geographies. Applegreen was established in 1992 and is one of the largest motorway plaza operators in Europe and the US, alongside having an extensive forecourt business. Applegreen has more than 600 locations across Ireland, the UK, and the US and employs more than 17,000 people.
Today, Applegreen Electric provides over 1 million fast-charging sessions to customers each year as part of a rapidly growing transition toward more sustainable transport fuels with an array of partners.
